All Velvet Glove trousers are made in your choice of colour, unless otherwise stated. They are slightly baggy (except the fitted short trousers) to allow for extra clothing to be worn underneath for those really cold days!

The majority of our trousers are secured with a drawstring. We can add a button fly to these trousers for added convenience if requested, but the trousers will still be drawstring waisted.

New Many VG trousers now available with one leg in one colour and the other leg in a different colour at no extra cost. Just put colour details in the colour box. If you have a preference, please let us know which leg is which from the wearers perspective.

Fabric

With some of the patterned fabrics the items may be lined with cotton to increase durability.

This is a pair of bicoloured, slit trousers made along the fashion of the lansquenets from the 17th century. It is not certain, where this fashion originated from, but historians suggest, that lansquenets started cutting their clothing.
